Madden 20 Guide: Oakland Raiders Playbooks

Last week we updated a part of the Singleback Wing Slot, you can click here to view. We also updated the West Coast offensive playbooks, and interested players can also view it here.

Oakland Raiders - Singleback Wing Flex Close

Playbook: Oakland Raiders

Formation: Singleback Wing Flex Close

Play: Smash (Vs Cover 4 Quarters/Palms)

Setup:

  • Put the X/Square receiver on a drag
  • Put the RB/R1 tight end on a drag
  • Block the running back

Reads:

  • The main target is the B/O receiver on the corner route
  • If that is not there look to either drag route
  • Lastly, find the A/X tight end on the in route over the middle

Overview: This play will destroy Cover 4 Quarters and Cover 4 Palms defenses. These defenses man match, so the corner route will be wide open every time unless they manually guard it.

Formation: Singleback Wing Flex Close

Play: Smash

Setup:

  • Put the running back on a wheel route
  • Put the RB/R1 tight end on a flat route
  • Motion the RB/R1 tight end to the right

Reads:

  • The first read on the play is the X/Square receiver on the hitch route
  • Then look for the running back on the wheel
  • If those are not there look for the B/O receiver on the corner route
  • Then find the RB/R1 tight end in the flat
  • Finally, find the A/X tight end on the in route

Overview: This play is going to appear to the opponent as Four Verticals with the use of the motion. Except this play is going to be completely different and can beat both man and zone coverage when making the correct read.

Formation: Singleback Wing Flex Close

Play: Smash (Part Two)

Setup:

  • Block the running back
  • Either keep the X/Square receiver on his hitch or put him on a slant route
  • Motion the X/Square receiver to the left

Reads:

  • The first read on the play is the X/Square receiver
  • If that is not there look for the RB/R1 tight end on the drag
  • Then look for the A/X tight end on the in route
  • Finally, find the B/O receiver on the corner route

Overview: This is how we are going to adjust to our opponent’s adjustments. In online games, the opponent will adjust on defense to slow our offense down. The video shows what opponents have done to me recently and how I counter them.

Formation: Singleback Wing Flex Close

Play: PA Cross Switch

Setup:

  • Put the running back on a wheel route
  • Put the X/Square receiver on a flat route
  • Put the RB/R1 tight end on an in route
  • Motion to the left the X/Square receiver

Reads:

  • The first read on the play is the X/Square receiver on the flat route
  • Then look for the running back on the wheel route
  • If that is not there look for the RB/R1 tight end on the in route
  • Finally, find the B/O receiver deep over the middle of the field

Overview: This play we are going to have a high low concept in the middle of the field with the RB/R1 tight end and the B/O receiver. Also, we have a quick pass to the X/Square receiver that makes it difficult for our opponent to cover.

Formation: Singleback Wing Flex Close

Play: Drive Y Corner

Setup:

  • Put the RB/R1 tight end on a streak
  • Block the running back
  • Motion the X/Square receiver out to the left

Reads:

  • The main target on the play is the A/X tight end on the corner route
  • If that is not there look for the X/Square receiver underneath on the drag
  • Then find the B/O receiver on the in route over the middle

Overview: This play is effective against any zone coverage in the game. The deep corner route ran by the tight end is nearly impossible to guard without covering it manually when your opponent does that it opens up the rest of the field.

Formation: Singleback Wing Slot

Play: Stretch Alert Bubble/ Dive Alert Bubble

Setup: Audible to these plays from Singleback Wing Flex Close

Reads:  Against zone coverage, you can hit the bubble screen for big yardage

Overview: Audibling to this formation from our Wing Flex Close scheme will create a headache for your opponent. Guarding these runs is completely different from how to guard the runs in Wing Flex Close. Also, you have the bubble screen on these plays to add another variable for your opponent.

The other six methods of playing the Oakland Raiders playbooks are described above, and the remaining part guide will be updated one after another.  If you are looking for the cheapest Madden 20 coins, I think you will like our website, which can visit here.
